Award again and Chenna Thoran/Yam stir-fry

Again Got another award from Zareena...Thanks so much for your award..

Now to the recipe...


Yam/Chenna-1 cup(cut to small cubes)
Mustard-1 tsp
Oil-2 tbsp
Dry Red Chilly-2 no
Salt to taste
Coconut-1/4 cup(grated)
Curry leaves few
Water as needed

Method Of Preparation:
1. In a wok heat little oil, Sputter the mustard and red chilly.
2. Add yam along with 1/4 cup water and cook it.
3. When yam becomes tender add salt and see that there is no water in it.
4. After that add grated coconut and mix well.
5. Serve with white rice.

I love your blog for all the kerala recipes you have on it and been reading it fairly recently...keep up the blogging! And by the way, your son's name is the one I'd originally wanted for my son, but had to take another one due to the numerological compatibility :-)..so another soft corner here!
